Who are Dave and Dave?

Dave Niven grew up in the Chicagoland area and had a rough childhood. When I was 5, I was walking home from school and was hit by a car, the car drove over me and I came out the back end. When I was 9, my mother told me no more jumping my bike, I hold the record of clearing 6 garbage cans, well I didn’t listen and made one final jump and forgot to pull up on the handlebars. Guys know what happened, next. OUCH! When I was 22, I totaled a car when I drove into a tree at 50 mph. I also had a rough time with holidays growing up, call in and ask me about my Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and Easter tragedies. Through all these difficult times and events, I have always had the ability to make people smile, laugh and groan at some of the things I say or do. For the past 21 years, the person that has had to listen to me the most is my wife, so if she can do that, I invite you to tune-in and listen to The Dave & Dave Show on Monday’s at 6:00pm and find out what a saint she is for putting up with me for so long.

Dave Weiser (Dr. Dave) has been around since his mom gave birth to him. He has been in improv since the nineties- through Second City, Improv-olympics and Improv playhouse among many improv troupes. In radio, he has been involved in talk radio for the last ten years, whether with The Sandy Rios and Scott Thomas Show in Chicago or the Radio Shopping Show and Tradio on WRMN in Elgin. To paraphrase Stephen Stills- If you cant make money with the one you love then love the one your with..in radio!
